Carnival of Venice
The Carnival of Venice is unique in the world and the tradition goes back to the XI century, although not declared a public holiday until two centuries later.
The Carnival of Venice reached its peak in the eighteenth century, a time when attending the festival a few aristocrats who came from very different places, and very often was that the princes and nobles flee to enjoy the event.
